Enterprise businesses now have another reason to invest in Samsung smartphones and tablets. Samsung has extended their partnership with Google to become a part of Google’s Android Enterprise Recommended Program.

The Google-led program was created to make it easier for enterprise businesses to incorporate secure mobile solutions that meet strict security and quality standards. To become part of the Android Enterprise Recommended System, Samsung has agreed to meet stringent hardware and software requirements.

This is far from the first partnership between Samsung and Google. The two companies have spent the last decade streamlining their products and services for better integration—for enterprise customers especially. Within the last two years, Android Enterprise and Samsung’s Knox Platform for Enterprise have been synced to provide Android customers with Samsung’s superior device management and cyber security offerings. In addition, the companies’ mobile device enrollment services have been synchronized to offer enterprise customers a superior employee onboarding process and optimized re-deployment of company devices across both platforms.

“By joining the Android Enterprise Recommended program, we are making it even easier for enterprise customers to build a mobile experience that protects employees, keeps them engaged and enhances operational efficiency by meeting and exceeding Google’s standards for security, productivity and flexibility,” said KC Choi, EVP and Head of Global Mobile B2B Team, Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics.
